Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start driving with Gomo?

First, go to your Settings Page and only enable the apps that you drive for. At the beginning of your day, open each driver application in the Gomo Slider to assure you are able to drive for each company (updating driver documents, notifications, etc.) Press the Start Driving button at the top of the Gomo Slider to start the automation process. If you don't go online here, automation will not work as Gomo remains offline. Allow for Gomo to take you online on all of your apps. At the end of your day, press the Stop Driving button, and Gomo will take you offline on each app systematically.

Will Gomo affect my acceptance rating?

Nope! Gomo automates any app switching you would otherwise be doing manually. We don't automatically accept rides for you, so if on the rare occasion two rides come in at the same time, you always have the choice to accept which ride you want. Once you choose which ride to accept, we’ll turn off the other one for you.

How much does Gomo cost?

Gomo Deliveries

What are Gomo Deliveries?

We know it’s hard to find enough ridesharing jobs to fill your time. That’s why Gomo is partnering with delivery companies in select cities to have drivers like you deliver packages. If you’re in between rides when a delivery job request comes in, you’ll receive a notification with all of the details. Once you accept, simply pickup the order and drive it to the dropoff location—it’s as easy as that!
And best of all, Gomo will pay you just like any other job. All you have to do to get started is sign up—we’ll send you jobs when they become available.

How do I sign up to do deliveries?

First, you will need to read and agree to documents including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and an Independent Contractor Agreement. Next, you'll consent to a background check and enter your social security number and driver’s license number and issuing state. After that, you’ll take a picture of the front and scan the back of your driver’s license. Once you’ve completed all of those steps, connect your bank account information so we can pay you!

I want to deliver food and packages, but I don’t live in a city with deliveries.

Don't worry! Even if you don’t live in one of our cities with deliveries, you can still sign up. We’ll start sending you jobs as soon as they become available in your area.

Can I use Gomo without doing deliveries?

Yes, deliveries are completely optional. However, by signing up to deliver food and packages, you’ll decrease your downtime and increase your earnings!

I only want to do deliveries. Can I use Gomo without connecting my rideshare accounts?

Yes. You can use Gomo only for deliveries, though we suggest using all of your accounts to get the most jobs possible!

Do I need special insurance to do deliveries?

Gomo has an insurance policy that will cover you from pickup to dropoff. If you are in between jobs, you'll be covered by your own personal auto insurance.

What happens when a delivery job comes in?

When a delivery job is available, you'll receive a notification with the job details. You will have 15 seconds to accept, or the job will automatically decline. Once you accept, you’ll be shown the pickup location details for 3 seconds before switching to your navigation app.

When I’m at the pickup location, how do I know I have the complete order?

Press on the blue list button to see a checklist of the entire order.

I accidentally exited the navigation before I made it to my destination. How do I get back?

Press on the blue navigate button on the Gomo map to switch back to navigation.

How/when do I get paid for doing deliveries?

You will get paid via direct deposit every Friday for the previous week (Friday–Thursday). Please note: even though the payouts are initiated on Fridays, it may take a few business days for the money to appear in your bank account.
