Quick Start Guide

Create Account

1. When you create an account for the first time, you’ll first be asked for your name, phone number, and email. When you create a password, please make sure that it is at least 6 characters long. If you are a rideshare driver and work for Uber (NOT UberEats), Lyft, or Via, select yes. If you have a referral code, enter it here. If you don’t have one, you can skip this step. Press “SEND TEXT VERIFICATION” to move on to the next step.

2. You should receive a text message (SMS) with a 6-digit code. Please enter this code on the next screen. Press “CONTINUE TO GOMO” to move on to the next step.

3. Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

4. Next, select your vehicle type from the dropdown menu. If your vehicle type is not listed, please select whichever is closest to your vehicle type. Examples of each type are shown below:

- Sedan (ex. Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, Toyota Camry, Volkswagen Passat, Hyundai Sonata)

- Bicycle (ex. manual or electric bicycle)

Examples of vehicles that Gomo does NOT accept:

- skateboards

5.  Enter your personal information. If you selected a car on the previous page, you are required to provide your Driver's License Number. If you selected bicycle, you have a choice of entering a Driver's License Number, Non-Driver ID Number, or Passport Number. Next, enter your Social Security Number. If you don't have one, you can use your taxpayer ID instead.

6. Upload a picture of each side of your Driver's License or Non-Driver photo ID. If you are using your passport, take a picture of the photo page.

7. Next, connect your payment information via Stripe. If you decide to finish this step later, you can find it in your settings page. Otherwise, you're almost done!
